Expert Weather Report: An easy-to-understand site-specific report detailing the exact weather
parameters, or “weather event” crucial to your incident. We provide past weather reports for all
weather types including, snow and ice, flooding, wind, hurricanes, storm surge, tornadoes,
lightning, hail, visibility, fog, and temperature.
Consultation: A verbal explanation of the weather conditions pertinent to your incident. A
consultation can easily be transformed into an expert weather report at the client's request.
Expert Weather Testimony: Expert weather representation provided in the courtroom; provide
expert weather opinions to facilitate verdict of judge and/or jury.
Fact Witness: Act as a Weather Data Interpreter. As a fact witness, the expert meteorologist will
only be able to translate the weather data for clarification and not be able to render opinions based
on the data (see expert weather testimony for rendering expert weather opinions).
Site Visit: A meteorologist will be sent to the incident site to determine how local effects would
have influenced the weather on the date of incident.
Specialized Products:
Lightning Verification: A verification of the number of cloud-to-ground lightning strikes up to a 15
mile radius, from the exact location. Detailed in the report will be the date and time, peak current
(kA), distance from the search location (mi/km), and latitude/longitude position for each strike.
Hail Verification/Study: A search of all National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed reports of hail,
within the search area determined by the client. Included in the report will be the date and time,
hail size and location of each incidence of hail.
Doppler Radar Analysis: An in-depth precipitation or wind analysis for your exact location using
certifiable Doppler Radar data.
Snow/Ice Verification: A verification of snowfall and/or ice accumulation for a winter weather event
for the use of plowers, contractors, property managers and the general public. This can be
produced shortly after the winter weather event, or can be produced for an event that occurred in the
past. The verification will include the date, start/stop times, accumulation, and type(s) of
precipitation.
Rain Verification: Daily or hour-by-hour verification of rain amounts. This can be produced
immediately following the rainfall event, or can be produced for an event that occurred in the past.
The verification will include the date, start/stop times, amount, and intensity.
